Residency Requirement
Carroll University adheres to a junior residency requirement, 这意味着所有全日制本科生都必须住在校内宿舍，直到他们达到高年级(92学分)或在学年开始时年满23岁.
Housing Exemption
Each year, 希望通勤或住在校外的全日制本科生必须提交一份校外申请，要求批准豁免居住要求. If the Off-Campus Application request is denied, 学生将受到居住要求的约束，并需要完成校内住房申请.
未被批准解除居住要求和/或未提交校园住房申请和许可协议的学生将被收取传统双人间和最低居民膳食计划的费用，直到满足居住要求的条款.

Applying for Housing
一旦你与招生办公室确认你将被威尼斯游戏大厅录取, 您将收到有关如何申请住房的更多信息, including how to select a residence hall and roommate. Applications for incoming student housing are available in October.
Step 1: Complete the Housing Application

Step 2: Find a Roommate

Step 3: Select Your Room

Reapply for Housing
Current or returning students (rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, (研究生)可以在2月份完成住房申请，并支付250美元的不可退还押金. 优先截止日期通常是在一个月后的3月，用于完成住房申请并有资格参加自我选择过程.*

Housing Selection
The timeline for returning student housing is as follows:
- Timeslots for selection are assigned to eligible students in March. 优先级基于抽签系统，该系统决定了在即将到来的学年开始时获得的总学分以及申请完成日期.
- Returning student self-selection takes place in March/April. During your assigned timeslot, 如果适用的话，你可以自己选择房间和室友组的成员.
- 没有参加自我选择过程的学生将在5月1日之后参加分配住房安置的一般抽签.
- 逾期申请将以滚动方式接受，并将在选择截止日期后由住房办公室分配住房安置.

Reminders:
- 如果不能自动免除居住要求，学生必须完成校内或校外申请.
